Turbo Jet 50th Anniversary Roving Exhibition

The interactivity potential of social media was optimised to attract visitors and achieve success for this roving exhibition celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Turbo Jet, the leading company providing Hong Kong-Macau ferry service.
The public submitted photos taken in Hong Kong or Macau to enter a competition via a Facebook page specially set up for the occasion, and in so doing, receive digitally a discount coupon for ferry ticket purchase. The photos thus collected together with the photo archives from Turbo Jet, totaling 5,000, were shown in a wave-like display structure formed by clear acrylic rods. This “sea” of photographic memories also featured a thematic chroma key booth for visitors to take photos with images of vessels at different periods as background and retrieve these photos by entering the Turbo Jet page at Facebook.
With the myriad of specially-designed interactive activities, the exhibition, in addition to being a celebration, was able to take on the dimension of a customer relationship building campaign through such offers as photo competition, discount coupon for ticket purchase, mementos, lucky draw etc.
