Canon PhotoMarathon is a photographic competition available in most parts of Asia. A playful and energetic approach is taken to echo with the competition theme “Shoot for Hong Kong”. Using bold outline and pop colours, the key visual illustrated a group of characters armed with cameras spreading out under the Hong Kong skyline to complete a series of photographic missions. These characters represented three different categories — with animal mascots for Challenge contestants, cartoon characters for Open contestants and pixelated characters for Online contestants.
